v3.0.2 Desktop v0.1.3 — Menu Bar, Persistence, Whole-Computer Scan

Jetwork desktop now runs quietly in the macOS menu bar (like Creative Cloud / Claude / Bluetooth), remembers what you’ve already synced so re-opening the app doesn’t force a re-scan, and indexes every relationship-bearing file on your whole Mac via Spotlight — not just Documents/Downloads.

New

(4)
  • Menu-bar tray icon — Jetwork now lives in the macOS menu bar. One click opens a status menu showing last-sync time per source ("Calendar: 2h ago") plus Open Jetwork and Quit. App stays resident on window-close like Creative Cloud or Claude.
  • Scan persistence — new userData/scan-history.json records a small summary per source. Re-opening the app shows "Already synced 2h ago · Re-scan" instead of resetting all 6 cards to "Ready to scan". Fixes the "I’ve done this 5 times already" loop.
  • Whole-computer scan via Spotlight — FilesCard now runs mdfind queries across your entire home directory in <1s, surfacing vCards, calendar files, CSVs, Excel/Numbers sheets, PDFs, Word/Pages docs, .eml/.mbox archives, Slack/Messages exports, GPS-tagged photos, and screenshots. Counts + sample paths per kind. Only actionable formats (vcf/csv/ics) still flow to the cloud; the rest is an inventory so you see what Jetwork could reach.
  • Desktop v0.1.3 DMG — download from jetwork.ai/download or GitHub Releases.

Improved

(1)
  • Every source card got a new subtitle with a concrete example: iMessage → "The 200 people you actually text, not the 8,000 numbers in Contacts". Photos → "That bar in Lisbon with Sara becomes findable". Calendar → "Who you met, when, where — the strongest signal of relationship weight". No more generic filler.

Design

(1)
  • Home view UX overhaul — added a "Why Jetwork scans your Mac" value-prop panel (3 pillars: Remember everyone / Not just names / Nothing leaves until you say), and a cross-surface footer showing This Mac · Chrome extension · Web app with per-surface state chips. Makes the product thesis visible in the app itself, not buried in marketing.
